Katherine Brown

Personal Injury Attorney

Katherine Brown, Esq. grew up in Atlanta and never really left. She studied English at Emory University, earning her Bachelor of Arts there before heading to Orlando for law school at Florida A&M University College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor.

She kept busy through all of it. While in law school she worked at Bank of America, organized community service projects for underserved residents in the area, logged more than 100 hours of pro bono legal work, and competed on her school’s mock trial team.

Her first job out of law school shaped how she practices today. As staff counsel for a major insurance company, Katherine saw firsthand how insurers size up personal injury claims and decide what to pay. She now uses that knowledge on the other side of the table, for the injured clients those same companies are negotiating against. She is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia.

Away from work, Katherine enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Insurance companies have a number in mind before they ever call you back. My job is knowing that number — and proving why it's not enough.
