There is nothing more iconic and famous in Portland than the local Scare Grounds. This iconic “Haunted House” is actually three haunted houses in one. In 2025, you will get to see the Silver Scream alongside Forbidden Fortress and Slayers.
There are various events and activities planned throughout the month of October, until the 1st of November. Visit this haunted house every week throughout October. It’s open every day except for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, with the exception of October 29th.

2. The Fear PDX
If you are looking for a more intense horror experience, then The Fear PDX is for you. Some of the attractions within The Fear haunted house include Sector 13 Alien Terror, The Mansion, Ancient Evil, and Scarecrow. Keep in mind that this is not for children, and nobody under the age of 14 is allowed on the premises.

6. Haunted Portland – Shanghai Tunnels
Portland has many actually haunted places, and one of them is considered one of the famous ones in the United States. This is the Shanghai Tunnels near downtown Portland, in the Pearl District. This is a group of tunnels expanding around 14,000 square feet.
